While
I was a non-traditional student, I decided that
I would look up some writing sites for a class I
was taking. These links below (in this column...)
come directly from that class.
Now,
I am writing pages for my websites, ebooks, and
reviews. I think it will help to find out more about
writing groups and become more active as I begin
to take my writing more seriously.
I
plan to add more to these links as soon as I find
more good ones. Please feel free to send
me quality ones you find. When you are done
looking at these, scroll down to find Stephen King's
official website link.
Did
you know that Stephen King once put his rejection
slips on a sharp metal stick (a spike) in his room?
It's true. He started writing at a young age, and
didn't quit.
I
admire Stephen King so much. I can recommend his
Gunslinger series unreservedly, along with many
others he has written.
A
book I really like about writing is the Stephen
King book, "On Writing." It's great for
motivation.
Just
for fun, I'm putting the link to Stephen site below.
Stephen King is one of my VERY FAVORITE writers,
and this is his OFFICIAL website. I think he's writing
on there to his fans at least once in awhile - it
sounds like him, anyway - but that is just my opinion.
Officially, he has an assistant do his comments.
If you are lucky, you might get an email from him
- well, his site - someday. I know it's just part
of being registered on his official site, but I
think that's really great.
Stephen
King's website is interactive, and uses some very
nice special effects. I enjoy it.
