the website) (ASO) "Assists in making the transition
to college life easier for students, particularly of the non-traditional
age, and promotes social activities."
I
think social activities can be so important for non-traditional
students. A non-traditional student can be so wrapped up in
school that he or she gets really stressed out. Having a social
outlet and people to talk to about your school experience
can help so much. And it's also true that non-traditional
students need help making the transition to college life.
For a non-trad student, it's often been a long time since
they have studied or been in school.
