Perhaps you thought that only younger people use these websites.
Nope! Nontraditional students also use these

GETTING
CONNECTED AS A NON-TRADITIONAL STUDENT
Some of the sites
listed on this page are networking sites I have recently found
- and others help you or your group get on the web yourselves.
It helps a LOT
to get connected as a non-traditional student - and here are
some sites to get you started.
THE
YAHOO NONTRADS GROUP - this group has nontraditional students
in it from all over. They discuss how to juggle home and family
responsibilities, which classes to take, how to find scholarships
and grant money, and lots more. Just click
here or click the link above to join.
FACEBOOK
- I would advise all non-traditional college students to get
on Facebook right away. It's a great place to link up with
other students, and keep track of the students you are meeting
while you are in school. Go here to see my Facebook page,
and send me a request to be your friend there.
MYSPACE
- Although this site started up as just a site for younger
people, now more and more older people are joining because
it's fun. there are a lot of things you can do to dress up
your site, too. MySpace always brings in the newest technology
and add-ons to make the site more fun.
DEL.ICIO.US
- this is another great site where people share links. You
can open this site when you first get online, and then "tag"
interesting sites you like. You can also look at other people's
del.iciou.us tags.
Are
you a non-traditional student who has always wanted to go
