Look here for New York links and sites from different schools this year. Here are some older links and information about Nontraditional Student support. There may still be some clues here to help you find help and support at your school. Please pardon any links that no longer work. They will soon be deleted or fixed this year (2015).

Nontraditional Student Groups
The State University at Potsdam has a group of nontraditional students. They are called The Nontraditional Student Organization. They have their own web page here: http://www.potsdam.edu/studentlife/clubs/nontraditionalstudentorganization.cfm.
From the website:
"Mission Statement
Provides support and representation, shares knowledge and experiences, and works to enhance the college experience of the Non-Traditional Students on the SUNY Potsdam campus.
Goals
The NTSO represents a large group of SUNY Potsdam's students. Non-Traditional students have made a decision to continue their education after a hiatus from high school. Many of these students often juggle a full time job, full academic course loads, and usually have lengthy commutes to and from campus.
Our organization actively works with staff and student government to assist in making sure that Non-Traditional students are given all opportunities at success.
If you are a Non-Traditional student and you are interested in finding out more about NTSO stop by the lounge on the first floor of Carson Hall and ask any of our members.
Officers
Michelle Durham, NTSO President
Wayne Gladle, NTSO Treasurer
contact: elliotse@potsdam.edu"
SUNY Cortland has a nontraditional student group too, the NTSO. They also have events, newsletters, resources, advisement staff, a nontrad student lounge, and more. Find out more here: http://www2.cortland.edu/offices/advisement-and-transition/nontrads/.
I will be looking for more resources and groups. Please send me your group or nontraditional student resource by going to this page: Add Your Group or information.
