NON-TRADITIONAL

STUDENT PAGES

Welcome to the Maine NEW Non-Traditional student pages.

Support, links, resources, and more.

The University of Maine, which is located in Orono, Main, has recently awarded Achievement awards to three lucky nontraditional students.

They also have discussion groups, veteran's services, and Nontrad meetings every Wednesday that include a brown bag lunch. They also celebrate Nontraditional Student week, and have Family nights with movies.

This University sounds very Nontraditional-student friendly.

You can find out more about the Nontrad Association at the University of Maine at their website here:

NEW! Here is the webpage at the University of Maine, Orono, Maine for Commuter and Nontraditional Student Programs:

http://www.umaine.edu/cntsp/

This page features photos of nontraditional students and tells about their First Annual winners of the Non-Traditional Student Achievement Award. It also mentions a Commuter Student Lounge!

Here is the address from the page:

228 Memorial Union, Orono, Maine, 04469. Check the page fo

Also, they have an M-Project Guide page here:

http://www.umaine.edu/cntsp/mproject.html

(From the site)

" The M-Project is an exciting and interactive program that matches new students with experienced students to guide them through their first year on campus." What a great idea!

WELCOME! We are currently compiling a list for students so that everyone will be able to join a Non-traditional student group when they go back to school.
