I came across a great website for California students who live
in or near San Diego, California. The site is the San
Diego Community College District. I didn't know that California
offered FREE classes to students there. There are
free computer software classes, free
GED prep classes, history classes, accounting, and more.
Many are no charge classes. They also offer financial aid for
pay classes, which cost $4.25 per teaching hour. Their entry
page says Welcome, we have new courses starting all the time. It's
definitely worth checking out.
2-09- Grant on the Yahoo Nontrad group shared a great link.
