QUESTION #1: What IS a nontraditional student?

Well.... a nontraditional student could be somebody going back to school after a break, be married, single, living on or off-campus, and taking in-person or online classes.

Are you a nontraditional student? Or thinking about it? Or maybe you know a nontraditional student? Whether you are a nontraditional student or not, WELCOME! To the Nontraditional Student website.

You can find out about scholarships, national nontraditional student groups, how to get motivated, study skills, and more here. You can get support and find out whether you want to become a nontraditional student (a nontrad) later, too.

NONTRADITIONAL STUDENT GROUPS

Having a nontraditional student group in your school can make a big difference and help you succeed! If you do not have a group at your school, consider making one. Scroll down to see what groups are listed in your state or country

You can send in your nontraditional student group information here to share with other students. The newest groups: The NTSO at Texas State University, San Marcos, the Nontrad Student Council at Western Oregon University, the Adult Student Campus Connection at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. (UALR). If your group has sent in a form, but is not listed here or on your page, please submit again here.
